T-HOUSE

Renovation of a Showa-Era House | Beside a Kofun
The distant past in which the Kofun was built, the house constructed during the Showa period, and the life lived here today.
These overlapping layers of time come together as a single landscape.
A view opens toward the Kofun beyond, allowing the lush greenery to gently permeate the space within. What has endured through centuries and the rhythms of everyday life, constantly in flux, coexist within a single frame.
The space offers a sense of continuity through time, connecting the distant past with the lives yet to come.
